Swinoujscie
It is the most northwestern city in the country. It is the only city in Poland located on 3 large islands: Uznam, Wolin, Karsibór and on several dozen (44 in total) islands and islets.
In 1824 the town became a health resort, and in 1895, after the discovery of brine and mud springs – a health resort.
At the end of the 19th century, a spa district was built rapidly, separated from the city center by a park.
One of the attractions of Swinoujscie is the beach, which stretches for 10 km (3.7 km on the island of Usedom and 6 km on the island of Wolin).
Currently, the beach in its widest section is 200 meters long, making the beach in Swinoujscie the widest beach in Poland.
In summer, the waters of the Baltic Sea, near Świnoujście, are the warmest on the Polish coast!
In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also use water slides, trampolines, motorboats with a pontoon, and rent a jet ski, etc.
The city has a specific development resulting from the maritime character of the city. There are historic port buildings, but also tenement houses, monuments, a complex of forts, a spa park, villas, a U-bot pool and a lighthouse – the highest on the Polish Baltic coast, one of the tallest lighthouses in the world.
